"Portland Harbor, and Islands", issued 1873, NY by D. Appleton for "Picturesque America". A fine and relatively early series of wood engraved panoramic views of Portland, Maine harbor, including the "Portland Head Light" at the bottom, "Evergreen Landing" at the top, and "White Head" in the middle. Exquisitely engraved- with gorgeous, professional hand color. One of the finer wood engraved views from "Picturesque America". In fine, clean cond. Perfect for framing and display. A nice 19th century nautical view, which is nicer than our photos reveal.

In VG+ antiquarian condition, with beautiful full hand color. On a c. 9 1/4 ” W x 12 3/4 ” H sheet (engraved image size is c. 6 1/2 ” x 9 ”).
