A fine 18th century map of this country by Rigobert Bonne, one of the more important and skilled cartographic engravers working in France at this date. Bonne succeeding Bellin at the Royal Hydrographic Office, an important and prestigious position awarded based upon merit and background.

In excellent, clean antiquarian condition with attractive full hand color. On a c. 10 1/2 ” W x 16 5/8 ” H sheet (engraved image size is 8 3/8 " x 12 5/8 ").
