A wonderfully engraved oversize folio sheet early 19th century map, with original outline hand color. An enormous Oregon Territory extends well up into British Columbia and across to Missouri. Texas is named, also called Potosi. From an uncommon atlas, extremely detailed, a fine and typically under appreciated map from a masterful cartographic engraver.

In VG+ antiquarian condition with a 4" centerfold split at bottom now repaired with removable document tape (just the slightest hint of minor light foxing which doesn't detract visually in the least) with attractive hand color.
On a c. 26 1/2 ” W x 21 ” H sheet (engraved image size is 20 1/4 " x 14 1/4 ").
