A gorgeous, detailed and finely engraved early 19th century folio sheet map by Adrien Hubert Brue, the prolific French geographer and publisher who was "Geographer du Roy". Indeed, this exquisitely engraved map bears a lovely circular embossed blind stamp just below the title of Charles Picquet, the talented Parisian Geographer and publisher who ultimately succeeded Brue. A wonderful map which looks much nicer in person than in a digital photograph- set within a decorative "piano-key" border.

In excellent antiquarian condition (with a bit of very light offsetting which doesn't detract visually) with attractive original outline hand color
On a c. 30 ” W x 21 ” H sheet (engraved image size is 28 " x 20 1/4 ").
