A gorgeous example of an uncommon and decorative mid-18th century map of England, with superior full hand color and a wonderful floral title cartouche which has two faces hidden within the decoration. With an expert and visually very appealing engraving style, done by the British master G. Rollos.

In excellent, clean antiquarian condition (the slightest hint of minor faint foxing confined to the marginal areas, virtually imperceptible and in no way detracting visually) with attractive full hand color. On a c. 12 7/8 ” W x 11 3/8 ” H sheet (engraved image size is 8 3/4 " x 7 1/2 ").
