A very scarce elephant folio size map of the Americas with a large decorative title cartouche of skirted Indians looking up towards the Sun. Extensive descriptive text on either side relating to North and South America. Inset box at bottom left describing Admiral Fontes "discoveries" relating to a North West Passage.
