A very scarce mid-19th century German map focusing on the American West in a detailed manner not found on many American maps of this vintage. Shows the American West at an important transitional date, with details not seen in this combination on any other map. An important and uncommon folio sheet (unfolded) lithographed map reflecting German interest at this date.
