A beautiful and very decorative mid-19th Century color lithographed map, surrounded by attractive vignette views. Left map is Aral Sea, according to Khanikoff. Right map is Kamtchatka according to A.Erman. Vignette views include "Kirghiz hunting with the falcon", "...Winter hut", and a sea panorama view of "Petropaulovski".

Very Good+ to near Fine, clean condition on a c. 12 3/4” H x 18 3/4 ” W sheet. Top margin trimmed a bit close, as issued. A small light water stain at top, not detracting visually.
