An appealing 1920's period red 3/4 leather binding. Spine in six compartments with gilt title and
author, gilt adorned raised bands. Three-quarter leather and marbled paper covered boards are
ruled in gilt; beveled boards. Binding tight and sound. t.e.g with foxing on the other edges.
Scattered foxing internally with many woodcut illustrations by P. E. Vibert. Original printed paper
wraps bound in. Text in French. Marbled endpapers.
In VG+ condition. Many appealing woodcuts in this contemporary fine binding.
Book measures 6 1/2" x 8". 291 pp.
