An appealing early 19th century red full leather binding. Ornately gilt spine with gilt title on contrasting black leather label. Boards ruled in patterned gilt. Leather, overall, smooth and supple with some wear. Lovely patterned gilt inner dentelles. Binding tight and sound. a.e.g. Mostly clean internally. Steel engraved portrait of the author. Old bookplate on inside front board. Marbled endpapers. Text in Spanish.
In VG condition, overall. A lovely 19th century red leather binding with an attractive shelf appearance.
