A mid- to late 19th century period red publisher's cloth binding. Gilt title on spine and top board. Cloth worn at extremities. Binding slightly shaken.
Mostly clean internally. Contains eleven maps and views. We see a few insignificant scattered observations jotted down by a tourist to the area. Lacks "Lake Winnepesaukee and the Adjacent Counties" folding map. Mount Pleasant panoramic fold-out is torn along on fold line (easily repaired with a bit of archival tape). Hinges broken.
In Good+ clean condition with attractive fold-out maps and views. A nice White Mountains collectable, quite scarce.
Book measures c. 4 5/8" x 6 5/8". 436 pp + ads.
