A handsome seven volume set of late 19th century period half leather bindings. Fine shelf
appearance with spines in six compartments with central gilt floral devices, gilt title
and raised bands. Half leather and marbled paper covered boards are ruled in gilt.
Bindings tight, sound and very clean with only minimal shelfwear. t.e.g.
Mostly very clean internally. Most volumes include a steel engraved frontis portrait of
Whittier, with tissue guard. Marbled endpapers match boards.
In near fine clean condition. A handsome set of leather bindings.
Books measure c. 5 3/8" x 8". UPS shipping, within the US, will cost approximately $12
