An early 19th century period full leather binding. Smooth spine in five gilt ruled compartments; gilt title on contrasting leather label. Leather, overall, smooth and supple. Joints cracked at heads. Binding, otherwise, tight and sound.
Mostly clean internally. Engraved frontis map of Vermont with old hand color. Three engraved plates bound throughout.
In VG to VG+ condition with a scarce 19th century map.
Book measures c. 4 1/2" x 7". Map measures c. 7" x 9 1/2". 312 pp.
