A charming 1930's Japanese purple cloth binding. Paper title label on top board. Bound at spine with string - a tight, sound example.
Internally clean with numerous b&w and full color illustrations. Color frontis depicts "Furisode Ningyo", the boy's and girl's kimono on dolls. Three tipped in color plates bound throughout (tissue guards present). Title page printed in black and red. Charming pictorial endpapers.
In VG+ to near fine, clean condition, top corner lightly bumped. A lovely example of Japanese binding.
Book measures c. 7 1/2" x 10 5/8". 141 pp.
