A fine mid-19th century full leather binding. Spine worn, leather mostly chipped away. Boards detached, leather rubbed and split at board corners. Text block remains sound. a.e.g.
Mostly clean internally with just a touch of minor, very scattered foxing. Complete with sixty-one steel engraved plates depicting nautical views and scenery in France. Engraved title page with vignette, "Chateau Gaillard". Marbled endpapers intact.
In Good+ condition, overall; internally fresh and clean. Perfect for rebinding or as a collection of steel engravings.
Book measures c. 7 5/8" x 10 1/2". 336 pp.
