An ornate two volume set of mid-19th century green cloth bindings. Cloth is intricately blindtooled on boards and spines; faded to brown at extremities. Gently worn. Bindings tight and sound. Mostly very clean internally. Complete with 34 steel engraved plates. Engravings depict views of Rome and the many attractions. 

In VG+ clean condition. A scarce set complete with steel engravings. 

Books measure c. 5 1/4" x 7 1/2". 460 / 431 pp + 32 pp ads.
