An early 19th century period full calf binding. Front board and f.f.e. detached; lacks spine leather. Text block sound.
Numerous engraved plates and fold-out map of New Hampshire. Map is neatly folded, in near fine condition; vignette of sunset on the ocean. We count ten engraved plates, including the vignette title page. Engravings include "Great Boar's Head and
Hampton Beach", "View of Portsmouth from the Navyyard" and "View of the White Mountains from Shelburne", as well as town and city buildings. Mostly clean internally w/ scattered foxing on some of the engraved plates.
In VG condition, overall.
Book measures 4 1/2" x 7 1/2." Folding map measures 9 5/8" x 12 1/2". 276 pp.
