An early 19th century full calf binding. Smooth spine w/ gilt title on contrasting black leather label, gilt devices rubbed, leather gently scuffed. Boards mostly smooth and supple w/
edge-wear. Front joint leather scuffed in spots (perfect specimen for a little leather polishing). Binding tight and sound. Internally foxed. Marbled endpapers. Old signatures on
end-pages. Lacks atlas mentioned in title, as virtually always.
In VG condition overall. A nice example in full period leather, sound & tight.
Book measures 6 1/2" x 9 5/8". 856 pp.
