An ornately embossed mid-19th century green publisher's cloth. Smooth spine with gilt buck emblem and gilt title. Blind stamped boards w/ central publisher logo. Cloth, overall, rubbed; corners lightly bumped. Binding shaken w/ a few sprung signatures. Minor foxing internally w/ frontis portrait of the author. Pages somewhat stiffened. Yellow endpapers. 

In VG- to VG condition, overall. 

Book measures 5 1/2" x 8". 437 pp.
