Nice four volume set in period early 19th century full leather binding, smooth spines gilt ruled. Contrasting spine title labels. Engraved frontis portrait.
In VG+ to perhaps almost near fine condition, only gentle wear, leather supple. Nice speckled full calf, almost a tree calf appearance. Text blocks tight and square, they show some light spotting as typical for books of this era. Attractive set.
Each volume measures 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".
