An 18th century full leather binding w/ appealing shelf appearance. Smooth spine in six ornately gilt compartments w/ gilt title on contrasting black leather label, leather chipped to headband, leather gently rubbed, remains attractive. Leather, overall, smooth and supple, board corners lightly bumped. Binding tight and sound.
Mostly very clean internally. Text in French. Marbled endpapers.
In VG condition, an attractive period French binding.
Book measures c. 3 1/2" x 5 3/4". 219 / 128 pp + 4 pp.
