A 19th century publisher's period blue cloth binding. Gilt ruled smooth spine w/ gilt title and central gilt sailing ship sitting atop a globe; cloth frayed at spine ends, gilt remains bright.
Beveled boards are ruled in blind, top board w/ central gilt yacht in w/ sea gulls, gilt title; cloth, overall, lightly soiled. Binding tight and sound.
Mostly very clean internally w/ a handful of woodcut engravings. Frontis, with tissue guard, shows the Yacht, 'Sunbeam'. Fold-out "General Chart Showing Track of the Yacht 'Sunbeam' 1876-1877" is torn into two along one fold line, lacks approximately 3/4". Brown endpapers.
In VG condition, overall. Scarce w/ fold-out map.
Book measures c. 6 1/2" x 8 3/4". Fold-out map measures c. 20" x 8 1/2". 479 pp.
