A 19th century half leather binding. Front board detached. Gilt title and year along spine, raised bands. Half leather and marbled paper covered boards. Leather rubbed at
extremities. Rear joint cracked at ends. Text block tight and sound. a.e.g.
Mostly very clean internally, complete with nineteen steel engraved plates. Frontis depicts Mrs. Peel. Other engravings throughout show Albano Lake, Garden of Boccacio and Lago Maggiore. Poets included in this volume are Mary Shelley, Percy Bysshe Shelley, William Wordsworth and Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
Contents near fine condition. Book measures c. 6 1/4" x 9 3/4". 360 pp.
