French Leather Bindings - c. 1920
A
handsome four volume group of contemporary three-quarter leather bindings with
marbled paper covered boards. Here we have a highly attractive shelf appearance
- spines with raised bands, six gilt-ruled compartments and gilt titles. Quarter
leather boards are mostly bright and clean, leather is smooth and supple with
the most minimal wear. Mostly
bright and clean internally. Light, uniform age-toning. Text in French.
Books measure c. 4 3/4" x 7". In
