period green cloth binding. Smooth, gilt-ruled spine w/ gilt title, leather
suffers short splits at spine head. Boards are mostly clean w/ minor
wear. Binding tight and sound. Deckled edges. Mostly
clean internally w/ light uniform age-toning, light foxing to first and last few
pages, paper somewhat stiff. Consists of numerous lithographed plates from
photographs and portraits. Views include the Medical Building, College Yard
(1829-1840), the College (1852), the Village (1855) and views of the river, just
to name a few - 11 views, in all. Portraits depict John Wheelock, Roswell
Shurtleff, Francis Brown, the College Counsel and Daniel Webster - 16 portraits,
