attractive early 20th century black full soft leather binding. Smooth spine in six
gilt-ruled compartments w/ gilt title and central gilt devices; spine leather
chipped at tail, some wear to head - minor flaws - an appealing shelf
appearance. Gilt ruled boards. Leather, overall, supple w/ minimum edge wear.
Binding tight and sound. a.e.g. Mostly
very clean internally. Frontis "William Wordsworth / From a drawing by
Hancock about 1798". Charming pink and green marbled endpapers. Previous
owner's signature on f.f.e. "Alston H. Chase". In VG++ condition. A handsome full leather binding, internally clean and sound.
