three volume set of mid-19th century red half leather bindings. Spines w/ gilt
title, gilt-adorned raised bands; leather chipped at spine heads. Red half
leather and red cloth boards are ruled in gilt, cloth rubbed w/ some edge- and corner wear.
Bindings tight and sound. Lightly foxed internally. Patterned
endpapers.
Overall,
in VG to VG+ condition. Appears to be an uncommon edition w/ a charming shelf
appearance. Books measure c. 4" x 6 1/2".
