A
late 19th century period half vellum binding. Smooth spine in five gilt-ruled
compartments, gilt title on contrasting leather label; label suffers some
rubbing, vellum slightly darkened and gently rubbed at spine ends. Half vellum
and marbled paper covered boards are gently rubbed w/ some paper loss. Binding
very slightly bowed, remains sound. Mostly clean internally w/ a former owner's
inscription on the inside front board, pencil notations on title page. Uniformly
lightly age-toned.
In
all, in VG to VG+ condition.
