Volumes are profusely illlustrated w/ b&w photographs by Dr. Wallace Nutting (1861-1941). These are a good example of Wallace's attempt to capture "that old life (in America ), which is rapidly passing away.". Bookplate "L.Mildred Greeley".

Ireland and New York volumes are in VG+ condition w/ only minimal wear; New Hampshire volume suffers dampstained cloth and scattered pencil markings throughout the text block (approximately five pages and within the index).

Books measure c. 7 1/2" x 10 1/4."
