Five handsome gilt three-quarter leather bindings. Spines in six compartments w/ gilt title and raised bands. Great shelf appearance. Three-quarter leather boards with marbled paper - the paper is shimmery in green and gold; boards are fresh, bright and clean with virtually no flaws. Bindings are tight and sound. t.e.g., other edges deckled.

Text blocks are mostly very clean w/ very scattered light foxing. Appears to include the original paper wraps that were issued w/ the books prior to binding. Text in French. Bookplate on inside front board, "Albert N. Connett Jr.". Lovely marbled endpapers in green.

In all, a handsome example of contemporary fine bindings. Limited editions. Books measure c. 5 7/8" x 7 3/4".
