A charming mid-19th century publisher's period binding w/ pastedown pictorial top board. Purplish colored cloth exhibits minimal wear, top board ruled in gilt w/ a chromolithographed illustration of Niagara 's cast iron bridge. Binding tight and sound.

Mostly clean internally w/ eleven plates and several text illustrations. Lithographed color plates depict " Niagara Cast Iron Bridge ", "Suspension Bridge & Rapides above the Falls" (not shown), "..from Point Prospect - American Side", "American Falls", "Terrapin Tower & Horse Show Fall from Goat Island", "Horse Shoe Fall", "Three Sisters & Goat Island from Canada Side", "Niagara River below the Falls", "Niagara in Winter from Canada Side", "Niagara River Looking Towards Lake Ontario" and "Whirlpool near Niagara".

In VG+ condition w/ eleven lovely chromolithographed plates depicting views of Niagara from many angles. A great addition to any Niagara Falls collection.

Oblong book measures c. 6 3/8" x 4 1/4". 45 pp.
