Works of Addison - 1845
A mid-19th century period three volume matching set of full calf bindings. Contrasting red and black leather labels on spines w/ gilt title, volume number; leather worn, peeled at spine extremities. Leather boards are worn, edges rubbed, leather split at corners. Joints rubbed, front joint of volume one cracked, top board of volume three nearly detached. Text blocks remain tight and sound. Marbled edges. Text blocks are mostly clean w/ scattered foxing heaviest on first and last few pages. Engraved portrait of Addison in volume one w/ tissue guard. Signature on f.f.e's "D.J. Fisk".
