A clean and attractive late 19th century period half leather binding. Gilt title on spine, six compartments w/ raised bands - nice shelf appearance. Bright and clean half leather boards w/ marbled paper exhibit minimal wear. Binding tight and sound. t.e.g, deckled fore-edge.
Mostly very clean internally. Previous owner's signture on second free endpaper, "Seth P. Remington - Christmas 1895. From J.P." Marbled endpapers.
In excellent, clean antiquarian condition.
Book measures c. 6 3/8" x 8 7/8". 540 pp.
