A charming mid 19th century publisher's gilt cloth binding. Ornately gilt smooth spine with gilt title and gilt cherub. Gilt title on front board, wear to extremities. Text block cracked in a couple of places but binding remains tight and sound.
Text block exhibits some foxing. Numerous woodcuts w/ old hand colored. Lacking title page.
A scarce 19th century illustrated children's book focusing on rural life & nature, in worn but close to VG condition.
Measures 4 1/2" x 6." 128 pp.
