A very clean, near fine early 20th century period binding.  Brown cloth spine w/ gilt title, author, publisher and tower. Blue boards w/ gilt title and building on top board.  Virtually free of wear w/ very light soiling to the bottom board, a couple of knots in the cloth appear to originate from the binder and not from wear.  Binding is tight and sound.

Mostly very clean internally w/ twelve tipped in engravings.  Each sketch has descriptive tissue guard and include Old South Church, Frigate Constitution, Dorchester Heights, Harvard Place, Old State House, Faneuil Hall & Quincy Market and Copp's Hill Cemetary.  Contents in fine, clean condition.

This first edition is in near fine condition w/ excellent engravings throughout.  Limited, numbered edition.  Appears to be a large paper edition.

Book measures c. 7 1/8" x 10 1/2."   206 pp.
