In two volumes.
A handsome two volume matching set of red cloth bindings with ornately gilt leather spine. Spines are very attractive w/ five compartments, gilt title and devices, raised bands; gilt is slightly rubbed. Boards are mostly clean, gently rubbed. Bindings are tight and sound. Text in French.
Text blocks are uniformly age-toned with light scattered foxing. New endpapers.
In all, a nice two volume set with an attractive shelf appearance. Text block is rebound w/ a 19th century 19th century binding. Clean ex-libris w/ light library stamps.
Book measures c. 5 3/4" x 8 3/4". 470/ 506 pp.
