A charming pictorial printed hardcover. Tan cloth spine gently rubbed at ends and lightly soiled. Color litho illustration on front board depicts the book's characters, rear board displays a holiday dinner (beef, plum-pudding, mince-pies, and beer!) surrounded by holly; boards exhibit edgewear, light rubbing and soiling. Binding sound and tight.
Text block is quite well preserved with virtually no soiling throughout (very unusual for a children's book of this vintage). Color illustrations on nearly every page. Thirteen charming full page, beautifully colored illustration. Pages clean.
In all, a fantastic and well preserved illustrated children's story tying all the best-loved characters together for the wedding of Bo-Peep and Tom Tucker. Scarce so well preserved.
