A charming pictorial printed juvenile hardcover. Brown cloth spine gently rubbed. Green and tan color illustration on front board depicts a young girl in period dress standing next to the title and a row of ten children sitting on a bench at the bottom, rear board displays publisher and year of publication; boards exhibit minimal wear and soiling. Binding sound. Text block is quite well preserved with little soiling throughout (very unusual for a children's book of this vintage). Color litho illustrations on every page. Charming printed endpapers Hinges cracked as one would expect since they are paper. In all, a delightful and well preserved illustrated children's collection of nursery rhymes.
