Simply wonderful book in a period French full leather binding. a.e.g. title in gilt on spine, boards with gilt-stamped seals, gilt devices in the corners. Elaborately gilt inner dentelles with fine patterned endpapers. Hand colored frontis and 3 other hand colored religious plates throughout.
In VG+ condition, binding sound and tight, small chip from tail of spine, some minor spots of darker staining along the edge, but still very appealing visually. Internally mostly quite clean and tight. The hand colored plates are just beautifully rendered.
Measures 3 1/2" x 5." 576 pp. A gem of an item, quite scarce.
