Original early twentieth century hardcover with title spine label, paper label mostly missing. Some minor shelf-wear to boards, spine lightly soiled, edges gently bumped but all around a nice, sound binding. Edges uncut. Clean internally, four b&w full-page plates with tissue guards, frontis is depiction from "The Heroic Age - Morning". Rear hinge loosening but remains firmly attached.
Contains seven of William Butler Yeats best known plays at the time: Dierdre, The Green Helmit, On Baile's Strand, The King's Threshold, The Shadowy Waters, The Hour-Glass, and Cathleen Ni Houlihan. It has four illustrations by Gordon Craig.
Book measures c. 6 1/4" W x 9 1/4" H.
