A handsome early 20th century period red morocco 1/2 leather binding. Very attractive gilt-ruled spine in six gilt-ruled compartments, central gilt floral devices, gilt title and dates - beautiful shelf appearance. Boards clean, leather gently rubbed from top board corners but definitely nothing that detracts from such an attractive binding. Deckled edges. Marbled endpapers. Mostly clean internally, very light, very minor scattered foxing which is hardly worth mentioning.
An attractive early 20th century French book which chronicles one hundred years of economic, religious, and intellectual movements around the world.
Book measures c. 6 7/8" W x 10 1/8" H.
Uncommon in such an appealing period leather binding.
