96 pp. This mid-19th century attempt to "provide good literature at a low price" is a catalogue of works published by this major English publisher. Appears to be lacking wrappers. Pages, however, are intact, some corner wear to the first and last pages; internally mostly clean throughout. A rare survival of early Bohn library remainders, with wholesale prices listed in the right hand column.
So influential was this series that it is said, "The translations of Bohn's Library have done for literature what railroads have done for internal intercourse."
