Period 3/4 leather binding, spine with gilt-title, decorative gilt devices in spine compartments.
In VG+ condition, binding sound and tight, especially for a book this size, shows some gentle wear, some nicks and small age defects, but really overall an attractive example. The title page has a rubber stamp of a former Seminary library, but no other indications of this source.
Measures 8" W x 11" H. About 4" thick. 2074 pages + 124 page supplement. Certainly an uncommon book and probably packed with information unique to this era and difficult to locate elsewhere without extensive hunting.
