Published by James Sangster & Co., London, no date (but would appear to be c.1850's). Bound in period 3/4 red leather with marbled boards and endpapers. Gilt spine letters.
VG+ condition, nice sound binding, some minor rubbing to extremities, but hinges tight, pleasing shelf appearance. Heavily illustrated with woodcuts throughout. Clean example from a church library, only a bookplate.
Measures c. 7 7/16" W x 10 5/16" H.
A scarce and very attractive edition.
