19th century full Italian leather binding, a.e.g., gilt-stamped seal on front board, gilt scroll border, gilt-lettered title and bands on spine, marbled endpapers, steel engraved frontis of 16th entury theologian Canisio (Canisius).
518 pp., including 144 pp index and 9 pp "Breve Beatificanosis." Measures 9" H x 6" W.
In VG+ condition, some scuffing and scrapes to leather, extremities gently worn, binding tight, very clean internally. Binding is sound, solid. leather supple.
