In a period full leather binding. Spine in 4 compartments, ornately gilt, with floral patterns, gently raised bands with gilt rules enclosing smaller gilt decorative devices. Boards ornately embossed surrounding central lozenge device, edge rules enclosing further floral patterning.
768 pp including 14 pp of Appendices. Large Quarto volume measures 11 1/2" H x 9" W.
Gently age worn, joints a bit rubbed and starting at head and tail. Text block mostly tight and fresh. 4 engraved plates and family record relating to Hooper and Ricker.
In all, a very acceptable example of an uncommon large quarto NH Bible printed in the first half of the 19th century.
