Attractive 2 volume set, in full, period, leather binding.  Gilt-embossed title on red leather label on spine.  Raised bands in six gilt-ruled compartments.  Board edges gilt-stamped. Four fold-out maps.  Engraved frontispiece for each volume.

In VG+ antiquarian condition.  Gently chipped at bands, head, and tail of spine.  Rubbed joints; hinges holding firmly.  Corners bumped.  Very clean internally with minimal foxing.  Folding continent Sanson maps are in VG+ to near excellent condition.  Binding remains quite study.  Very pleasing appearance overall for such a scarce set.

Each volume measures 4" W x 6 1/2" H.

A very scarce set, rarely encountered complete with the four maps in period bindings
