Fine c.1929 polished 3/4 red crushed morocco binding, heavily gilt spine with ornamentations, contrasting spine labels & raised bands. Marbled boards, armorial gilt stamped front cover.
Very pleasing example of a very uncommon fine early 20th century binding, displaying only the most minor inevitable age flaws which are in no way detracting.
3/4 red Morocco. Signed binding. Gilt-embossed title on spine, with raised bands in six compartments.
In VG+ to near excellent antiquarian condition.
Measures 6" W x 8 3/4" H. 439 pp.
