This very scarce accordian album is in clean, VG+ condition. Bound in elaborately embossed and stamped red cloth, this book features 12 black and white tipped-on aobumen photographs by the noted and important Dutch photographer A. Jager. Measures 4 3/4 " W x 6 3/4 " H.
Most of the photos gently and uniformly age faded as often seen.
Many of the sections have separated as typical due to the weight of the sheet.
many of the photos have people in them.
Rare thus. While albums of Amsterdam may be encountered on the market from time to time, rarely are they found with photos attributed to this important early photographer of the city.
