Publ in NY, (nd) c.1860's by Dick & Fitzgerald. 273 pages with index and 14 page publishers catalogue at rear. 4th edition, revised and corrected. Embossed green pebble cloth, spine gilt lettered, 8vo. VG+ condition, minor and light overall age and edge wear, some gentle rubbing but contents mostly tight and clean, hinges solid. Title page has a 2 1/2" tear at bottom left which has been mended with archival tape, otherwise a very nice example of this scarce book. Illustrated. Quite a rare and desirable mid-19th century
